INFO: WORKSHOP OF BIOINFORMATICS AND THE ROLE IN TRACING EVOLUTION AND TRANSMISSION OF MYCOBACTERIA
Here we forward you information about Workshop of Bioinformatics and The Role in Tracing Evolution and Transmission of Mycobacteria, which is held by Institute of Tropical Disease (ITD), Universitas Airlangga with speakers from Kyoto University, Prof. Fumito Maruyama, Ph.D and Assistant Prof. So Fujiyoshi, Ph.D along with Ali Rohman, Ph.D from Universitas Airlangga. ITD is the research center which become top choice for science based university in the field of molecular biology research. The event is scheduled on 18-20 October 2018.
Bioinformatics is the application of computational techniques to manage and analyze biological information. Bioinformatics is a very important tool for biomarker identification, evolutionary disease epidemiology, development of biological data information for clinical and science technology.
Based on that background, this workshop is held to: provide individual knowledge for those who have an interest in learning molecular biology technique and bioinformatics. Topics that are being provided includes:
1) Basic of bioinformatics
3) MOCK community data
4) Bacterial community analysis
